Waking up in the morning can sometimes be a heavy burden. If you want to flip this missery into something that will put a smile on your face then it is vital that your mindset is changed so you can always stay positive with an uplifting mood to start the day.

If you can think of ways to create an uplifting mood in the morning; science show that you will improve your overall health significantly.

Start You Day With A Smile

1. Laugh even when you don't feel like it

Get over your sense of pride and over the need to be regarded well by others and just let go.

Laugh every time you can, even if it is something stupid and totally childish. We all need to get into the habit of laughing full-heartedly again.

We lost this ability when we grew up and never went back to make it appear in our lives again. Remember how much you laughed as a kid? How much joy you had and how everything was either extremely funny or you made it extremely funny?

Kids smile because they love life. Find this love for it again by smiling the biggest grin you can muster at everything that could even be remotely funny.

If you can laugh at this “fortune”, or even just crack a smile at it, you are on your best way to more positive energy than you can handle!

2. Stay greatful

The emphasis to stay greatful whenever and whereever you are is important to your daily life and your mindset.

When you look at the world and all you see is what the news tell you and you believe only what your friends talk about, you will have a hard time finding anything positive.

But if you would just take a moment to look at the beauty in this world then nothing could bring you back down. Do you realize that we are all miracles from the day we are born? That the chance of us even coming into existence is smaller than the size of an atom?

Do you ever realize that everything you come into contact with was once part of nature? That someone had to form the crazy idea to turn the minerals and substances of the earth into everything from your computer screen to your underwear?

And do you ever think about the fact that right now someone is laughing, someone is falling in love, and someone is experiencing so much happiness they are about to cry their heart out?

If you think of the above most days and question why you are so lucky to experience nature and conciousness then you will sense gratitude towards life and nothing will bring you down because you will be greatful for the opportunity to expience everything.

3. Congruent Character

Strengthening your character affects the way you see yourself and the action you take. The actions you take, come together to form your habits and, this is important, your habits lead you to your destiny.

As we grow older, being yourself becomes harder with external distractions and constant expectations from people around you. Be careful not to lose track of who you are and what do you want to represent. It’s great to be inspired by other people but at the end of the day, there is only one of you.

"Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it” – Bruce Lee

4. Simplicity

One must not live in the thick of thin things.

Many people are good at being busy, but not great at being productive.

Without focusing on the priorities, you’ll be constantly running around like a headless chicken. Prevent the risk of overwhelm and paralysis. Reduce the need of urgency for everything, and pay attention to the essentials that is meaningful and will help you grow as an exceptional person.

5. Solitude

It is a period of time, as little as fifteen minutes or as much as fifty, wherein you explore the healing power of silence and come to know who you really are

Nowadays we are surrounded with an abundance of digital technology many people carry around like a pet on a leash. Everything seems to be ‘urgent‘ with notifications like social media updates and emails.

Take some time out daily, to find a feeling of balance and clarity in your day to day activities – make it into a routine by practising same time and place.

6. Physicality

As you take care for the body, so you care for the mind. As you prepare your body, so you prepare your mind. As you train your body, so you train your mind.

Investing time in some form of vigorous exercise will not only help you look great in the mirror but it is also great for health and vitality.

It’s no coincidence people who look after their bodies are usually the ones who show no signs of slowing down.

7. Nourishment

A poor diet has a pronounced effect on your life. It drains your mental and physical energy. It affects your mood, and it hampers the clarity of your mind.

These days nutrition is more confusing than ever before. Without going into any dogmas and extremism, we should simply focus a majority of our diet around quality wholesome foods with essential nutrients to nourish our body.

One must live in moderation and do nothing to extremes.

If you need a meaning to wake up in the morning with an uplifting smile the remember that there are so many things about your life you should be greatful for. By realising how lucky you are this should help to motivtate you to think of the positive reinforcements that surrond your life.
