The mother of a child who took his own life because he experienced relentless bullying at his school has written an open letter to his bullies that made his life unbearable.

Felix Alexander has been bullied since the age of 10. One afternoon, on April 2016, he stepped out in front of a moving train and ended his life. He was just 17 years old.
Bullied for years, Felix first started experiencing it when he was being excluded from his friend's games online. Gradually, over time, the bullying deteriorated and gotten worse. It shifted from bullying to his face to online abuse.
His mental health was affected the most
This took a severe take on his mental health as he was no longer isolated at home.
His mother, Lucy wrote a convincing letter to his bullies about her son.
His confidence and self-esteem had been eroded over a long period of time by the bullying behaviour he experienced in secondary education.
She claimed it began with unkindness and social isolation towards her son. Over the years, as social media began to evolve and intrude more into younger people's lives, the bullying he experienced became unbearable. People who had never met her son were also beginning to be cruel to him.
It seemed that Felix was so badly damaged by the abuse, isolation and darkness that he was unable to see the light of how many people actually cared about him.

After being targeted for years, his bullying began to degenerate into the verge of cruelty. He was known as the most hated person in the year at school by many.
The bullying only escalated
It started with social isolation when he was around 10. He didn't get invited to parties and wasn't included in weekend activities. Then the online abuse started when he was 14. It was initially via the websiteAsk.fm and then it escalated with basically every social media platform you could imagine
His parents are now on a mission to tell the world about Felix's story. They want to raise awareness to many parents out there about the effects of bullying on their kids.
